And the days were long, the sun was gold and covered the landscape of Château de la Hulpe with a soft golden haze in the evening, where we walked and danced on the aquarelle-like lawns of the estate, where we left a part of our hearts.. on that beautiful summer’s day when Anne & Mitchel said ‘I do’.
This evening we are very thrilled to share this epic love story with you. A story which we had the honours of finding in a beautiful international publication yesterday, over on the prestigious wedding blog The Black Tie Bride. Have you seen it yet? We would love to know what you think about this. Click here.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with this lovely couple and I loved capturing how they blossomed when I was alone with them in the gardens of the castle, a moment to take it all in .. this wonderful start of something special.
Isn’t it amazing how they managed to create their dream wedding in Belgium from their new home in NY?
If I was to bring this wedding back to one word it would definitely be ‘elegant’. Anne looked beautiful in her romantic silk & tulle wedding gown, perfectly matching Mitchel’s deep blue tuxedo. Just what I love..
With powdery pink and white floral designs and the classy styling of the dining room, the candlelight & the canapés during the reception, elegance was in every detail of this day.
Leaving underneath the stars, I didn’t miss a moment .. from the time I arrived, catching that first smile of my bride as she was getting ready, until I hugged her goodbye, I carry the memories of this beautiful summer day in my heart.
Perhaps we might bump into you when we are in NY someday ;-)
Lot’s of luck & happiness to you both.
